FAQs
Questions We Often Hear from Organisations
Whether you’re looking to strengthen compliance, build leadership capability, or create a more effective workplace culture, here are answers to some of the most common questions we receive from clients.
HR Consulting and Advisory
How can HR advisory support our organisation beyond HR operations?
Effective HR is no longer limited to policies, recruitment, or administration. A strategic HR framework helps organisations align people practices with business objectives, improve accountability, strengthen leadership capability, and create systems that support sustainable growth. At Voyage Ahead, we work with organisations to identify gaps, strengthen HR processes, build capability frameworks, and create people practices that enable business performance rather than merely support it.
Do you customise HR advisory and training interventions?
Yes. We strongly believe that every organisation has its own culture, challenges, leadership style, and business priorities. Rather than delivering standardised solutions, every engagement is designed based on an understanding of your industry, workforce, organisational maturity, and desired outcomes. This ensures that recommendations and learning interventions are practical, relevant, and implementable.
Can you support organisations that are undergoing change or transformation?
Absolutely. Organisational change often requires more than process changes—it requires behavioural alignment, stakeholder engagement, communication, and capability building. We support organisations in navigating change through structured interventions that help employees adopt new ways of working while maintaining business continuity and performance.
PoSH Consulting & Workplace Respect
When do I have to be compliant with PoSH? Are there any guidelines?
If you have 10+ employees, you must comply with the PoSH Act and form an Internal Committee as defined by the PoSH Act 2013, even if no women are employed in your organisation. PoSH is a statutory requirement, and violations may affect the employer’s brand and attract penalties.
Why should organisations conduct PoSH training regularly?
PoSH compliance is not a one-time activity. Regular awareness programs help employees understand acceptable workplace behaviour, reporting mechanisms, and their rights and responsibilities. Leadership and manager-focused programs additionally help organisations create psychologically safe workplaces where concerns can be addressed appropriately, respectfully, and in compliance with the law.
Do you conduct specialised workshops for Internal Committee members?
Yes. Internal Committee members require a much deeper level of capability than general PoSH awareness. Our IC Capacity Building Workshops focus on complaint assessment, principles of natural justice, inquiry procedures, documentation, confidentiality, interviewing techniques, report writing, and investigation processes. These programs help IC members perform their responsibilities with confidence and legal compliance.
Can PoSH workshops be customised for leaders and managers?
Certainly. Leaders often serve as the first point of contact when concerns arise. Our leadership-focused interventions help managers understand escalation protocols, confidentiality requirements, psychological safety, retaliation prevention, and the boundaries between managerial responsibilities and formal inquiry processes.
Learning, Leadership & Capability Building
What kinds of training programs do you offer?
We design and deliver learning interventions across leadership development, communication skills, managerial effectiveness, team effectiveness, behavioural skills, workplace professionalism, personal effectiveness, DEIB, customer orientation, change management, and organisation-specific capability requirements. Each program is designed to deliver practical workplace application rather than theoretical learning.
How are your workshops different from traditional training programs?
Many training programs succeed during the session but fail to create behavioural change. Our interventions focus on practical application, interactive learning, reflection, discussion, real-life scenarios, and business relevance. The objective is not simply knowledge acquisition but enabling participants to think differently, act differently, and achieve better outcomes in the workplace.
Do you offer programmes for senior leaders and experienced professionals?
Yes. Senior leadership audiences require a different learning experience than early-career professionals. Our programmes for leaders and experienced professionals focus on strategic thinking, organisational alignment, culture-building, leadership influence, execution excellence, change management, and high-performing team creation. The discussions are designed around real organisational challenges rather than basic [PLACEHOLDER: client's source document cut off here - please supply the rest of this answer].
